Who we are

What we collect

  • Contact details you provide (name, email, phone, address)
  • Housing application and eligibility information
  • Tenancy, rent and repair records
  • Website usage data (IP address, device, pages viewed) via essential and, with consent, analytics cookies

Why we use it

  • To process applications and manage tenancies (contractual necessity)
  • To provide repairs, support and safeguarding services (legitimate interests / vital interests)
  • To comply with our regulatory and legal duties as a registered provider (legal obligation)
  • To improve our services and communications (consent, where applicable)

Who we share it with

We share personal data only where necessary — with contractors carrying out repairs, local authorities, benefit agencies, safeguarding partners and our regulators. We never sell your data.

How long we keep it

We retain tenancy records for the duration of your tenancy plus six years, and application records for 12 months after a decision, unless a longer period is required by law.

Your rights

You have the right to access, correct, erase, restrict or object to our processing of your personal data, and to data portability. To exercise any right, email info@anchorhousingltd.com. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.

Security

We use encryption in transit, role-based access controls and regular reviews to protect your information. Only trained staff with a genuine need can access your records.
